Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has seen numerous preview updates over the past few weeks, not only to tweak existing parts of the 1.20 update but also to introduce new experimental features. The latest beta preview, known as version 188.8.131.52, applies the same changes as Java Snapshot 23w31a, including changes to diamond ore distribution and changes to shops for the Librarian Villager and The Wandering Trader.
Both the Minecraft Beta and Bedrock Edition for Java hint at a future implementation that will arrive with the release of version 1.20.2. However, it is important to remember that the changes introduced in Java 23w31a and Bedrock 184.108.40.206 are still temporary in nature and require user feedback.
Like previous Minecraft Bedrock betas, Preview 220.127.116.11 is available for download on Xbox consoles, Windows 10/11 PCs, and Android/iOS mobile devices. By installing the preview directly or joining the preview program, players can enjoy the latest preview every time Mojang releases it.
