In addition, citizens have an overview of all urban transport routes and the innovation is that they can even estimate in how many minutes the vehicle will arrive. "We also added the ability to report irregularities ranging from broken vehicles to non-working air conditioners," explained Šapić.

He urged citizens to download only the app with the Beograd Plus and said that the city will try to release advertisements in the media in the next ten days so that it is not misused. As he said, starting tomorrow, citizens will be able to buy paper tickets at 318 kiosks, 250 of which are at the most frequent bus stops and 68 in the city center. They will be represented at 200 other locations by the end of the summer.

In seven to eight days, each kiosk will have a sticker indicating that it is possible to buy a ticket, although it has been demonstrated for a month and a half that payment by SMS is effective in all cases. From September, the driver will have a device on the front door of the car through which payment cards can be issued - said the first person in the capital.

The Mayor pointed out that the application will not be limited to public transport, but that citizens are expected to be profiled in the autumn as part of the “Beograd Plus App”, which will allow them to use all the benefits provided by the City of Beograd.  Sapik said that when they visited the private transport companies, they highlighted the three most important things, namely that the vehicle should be on the move, then the inside and outside should be clean and finally the air conditioning should work, especially in summer...

Now we will have inspectors who will check the bus at the departure station and determine if the vehicle is clean and the air conditioning is working. By the end of the week, we will complete the process of appointing 150 inspectors who will assist members of the municipal militia. In the meantime, we have changed the penalty rules, taking into account that previously a maximum penalty of 200,000 dinars per month per vehicle could be imposed. Regarding the renewal of the rolling stock of the utility company GSP Belgrade, the mayor stated that the city intends to provide 500 new buses, 100 trams, and 100 trolleybuses.
