User interface and game mode

Before we dive into the gameplay, let's go into the menu for a moment. Riot keeps things pretty simple when you first launch it, leaving the home screen pretty blank for now.

In the top left corner of your phone, you will see two icons, a hexagon, and a box. This toggles between the synergy of your board lineup and the items on your bench.

Basically, your team's synergy is displayed. By tapping on any synergy you can see what the synergy does and what champions they have.

In the example below you can see that we have Jarvan IV, Mordekaiser, and Xin as our three Dark Stars and we are missing Karma, Lux, and Shako.

If you ever want a reminder of which champions to look out for in your shop and carousel rounds, this is a great way to look.

By tapping the icon in the upper left, it will switch from your synergy to your passive items

One very important thing I want to note here is that it shows the champion you're hovering with will get the item. At the bottom of the expanded box, you can see Jarvan IV (Chain Vest + Recurve Bow).

This is useful when you have multiple units and prevents you from accidentally fitting an item with the wrong shampoo when things get busier.

You can also check item combinations by moving items on your bench like in the image below.

Unfortunately, you still can't collect items in your item bank, so you have to resort to the trick of attaching them to a champion you don't want, and then selling that champion to get the full item (assuming it's your champion. want) to give a pre-combined substantive).
