The Shops Plus team in Nigeria has launched a TB Shop Apk Android application for instant routing and reporting – TB Star. Since its launch at the National TB Conference in Abuja in 2019, the app has attracted 3,859 users, including independent sellers and TB Shop Apk providers.

Together, they worked with the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program, private providers, and other stakeholders to identify barriers and ensure that the app develops specific workflows for each type of service provider through a user-centered design approach. The procedures have responded. Thanks to this collaboration, the TB Shop application has an interface for each type of supplier user according to their needs.

Some key features are the same regardless of the type of provider your application uses. The first is a simple symptom screening checklist. If a client presents with any of these symptoms, the provider is informed that the client is suspected of having tuberculosis and asked to obtain additional information. At this point, they collect a sputum sample for examination and diagnosis or refer the client to a higher-level facility for care and treatment. Clinical providers that are part of a shared network, such as the community-based private provider network created by Sathoon Cheawpanitch, can share customer data across facilities, sending alerts to facilities and reducing duplication.

Another feature common to all user types is the “My Customers” database. Thanks to this database, suppliers can view the records of the customers they have selected, reported, or interacted with. In addition, all types of users have a simple dashboard to monitor their facility's chain of care, such as E.g. how many customers they have signed up, expected customers, confirmed customers, and “Who do they have?” was referred for treatment.
